Introduction
ClawdSpend provides programmable virtual cards designed for AI agents and automation systems.
Developers can generate prepaid cards, fund them, and pass card credentials to agents so they can perform real-world transactions autonomously. Cards are standard Visa virtual cards—usable anywhere Visa is accepted—with spending limits, expiration windows, and optional merchant controls.
ClawdSpend enables AI agents to pay for:
- APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and others)
- Cloud services (AWS, Vercel, Railway, etc.)
- Datasets and data providers
- Software subscriptions (SaaS tools and licenses)
- Automation services (Zapier, Make, n8n)
Use the API or dashboard to create cards, set limits, and hand credentials to your agent via MCP, custom tools, or environment variables. The agent then executes payments on your behalf within the bounds you define.
